Construction of this home began with a thirty foot by forty foot six foot high concrete float filled with nine five hundred pound Styrofoam blocks. The two story home was built on top of the float and weighs in at 400,000 pounds. Upon completion the floating home will be relocated to Lake Union in Seattle.

The Floating Home was featured in articles in the Seattle Times, Peninsula Daily News, and Seattle PI.
